A CONTINUAL FEAST!

All the days of the afflicted are bad, But a cheerful heart has a continual feast. Proverbs 15:15

Girlfriends, don't we all know that it is we who decided what kind of day we're going to have? We know in theory, but do we really know that in truth? You decide each and every day if your day is going to be good or bad.

Having a cheerful heart is a God given right. Whatever you do, don't let the enemy steal this from you. He will use anything! He only does what we allow.

Make sure that you are taking care of yourself spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Affliction usually occurs when one of these areas is not taken care of. Find a passage of scripture to meditate on. The Psalms are good to read. Try Psalms 34, 46, 91, and 121.

Make a decision to be happy! Use the gift of family that God has given you. Pamper yourself every now and then, and don't let anyone tell you that it's selfish.


A prayer

Lord, thank you for being God all by yourself,
Thank you for providing us with everything we need,
You are our strength and our song,

We will always have what we need if we depend on you,
Lord we thank you for mercy and grace
Lord we will not lift up our soul to any idol
You are the true God

Lord I thank you that you know my name,
and you alone establish my goings,
Lord I thank you that when I was in my mothers womb,
you saw me and ordained a purpose for me

Lord thank you for being my inexhaustible supply,
Lord when everything else runs out,
I can always run to you.
Lord forgive me, when I act like you are not enough
You are my God and King,
I praise you!

LET YOUR ROOTS GROW DEEP!

Colossians 2:7 Let your roots grow down into Him and draw up nourishment from Him, so you will grow in faith, strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let your lives overflow with thanksgiving for all He has done.


My Sisters don't we all want to live from God's overflow? Many of us would say yes, but many of us do not live in this way. Have you ever been just STUCK? Our fulfillment comes from God and knowing him deeply. Knowing him deeply doesn't mean you float around all day on a glory cloud, but it means you reflect and respond on God's presence.

Overflow means more than enough, it means no lack of any kind. It means you have what you need and then some. God is mighty to save girls! He can save you from despairing your life, and give you joy and peace. He can save you from you!

The Lord does not desire that we cover up anything, his wish is for us to lay everything at his feet in plain view. There are many things that are difficult to lay down. Don't bear needless burdens today. The Lord cares for the sparrows that they might eat, so that means he cares about the minute details of your life. Who wouldn't serve a God like that? (clarification) The true and living God, God is not dead, he is yet alive! God never wants us to give anyone anything from our lack, God likes for us to give to Him and to others out of a place of abundance!
